Young people, both audiences and artists, are the lifeblood of an exciting theatre and at the Young Vic the development of young audiences and the nurturing of young talent is at the heart of everything we do.
Our network of Directors provide an incredible talent pool we can draw from to deliver our work with schools, young people and the local community. We are proud of our outstanding track record in engaging with these groups and of our Directors who deliver this incredible variety of work.
Examples of recent Taking Part projects involving directors include:
- Learning - The Surplus Schools Production, directed by Jonathan O'Boyle
- Participation (formerly Young People) – Now Is The Time To Say Nothing, directed by Caroline Williams
- Neighbourhood Theatre (formerly Two Boroughs) – The Brolly Project, directed by Mimi Poskitt
For more information see the Taking Part section of the Young Vic website.
Where appropriate, we advertise these opportunities via the Genesis Directors Network.
