Samuel Weber
Director
I am a director/choreographer and student who is passionate about making inclusive, diverse, and immersive theatre. Currently a master's student at the University of Oxford, I am a recent graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where I led the 24 Hour Musical Project - an experiment in radically immediate theatre in which students of all backgrounds produce, learn, and perform a full-length musical in less than 24 hours. My academic interests lie in the intersections of health, performance, history, and human rights. I have research experience in biochemistry, medical anthropology, and history, and have recently begun work in health policy.
I work predominately in musical theatre, and strive to use youth culture, contemporary movement, and non-traditional spaces and styles to make classic musical theatre accessible and exciting to young and diverse audiences.
