Directing Musical Theatre
9 June 2020
10.30am – 1.00pm
This workshop led by director Tinu Craig will look at the similarities and differences between directing plays and musicals at various stages in the creative process, as well as exploring different ways of approaching directing musical theatre.
We will look at acting through song and use some well-known music as a stimulus. We’ll also look at the traditional structure of musical theatre and consider how we might use it or even subvert it.
Workshops delivered through Zoom can require particular access requirements. Please let us know if we need to make adjustments.
