The Tricky Thing about Truth

Thursday 13 August

10.00am – 12.30pm

The session, led by theatre maker Nathan Powell will focus on how we work with young people and community groups to tell stories important to them, rooted in truth, in a way that is safe and flexible to participants needs.

The workshop will be a mixture of conversation and practical tasks that will offer participants an insight Nathans way of working. The session will focus on:

  • Creating a safe and efficient space for exploration
  • Creating theatre from people’s truths and lived experience
  • Pastoral support for participants and you
  • Life after a project
  • Space for questions, discussing and group skill sharing
