Filip Jan Gesse

I am a queer costume designer, I use he/him pronouns. I have recently graduated from the University of York BA Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance, and have since done a couple of professional costume design projects. I am most interested in creating costumes for socially-engaged theatre, especially that in which said costume can perform in unexpected ways and be imbued with a lot of meaning. Some of my main influences include Bertolt Brecht, Leonor Fini, or Keir Elam.
