Filipe Carvalho

Hi.
My name is Filipe (he/him). I'm a Magic & Illusions Director based in London.
I've been doing and studying magic since I was 5. My passion for theatre creation also developed at a young age.

At 19 I left my home country, Portugal, to do a degree in Stage & Production Management at Guildhall School of Music & Drama (2007-2010).

For the past 5 years, I have decided to merge both my skills in the field of Magic and Theatre-Making and focus on being an illusions director for shows.

I've been privileged enough to have worked for Disneyland Paris, immersive shows like Marvel Avengers and Secret Cinema and West End shows like Back To The Future The Musical.

I'm very interested to get to know and work with more and new directors, designers, and producers.
