I am a dramaturg, translator (Japanese, French) and emerging director with experience in both the UK and Japan. As a dramaturg and text assistant, I have worked with numerous organisations and artists, including Theater Cocoon / Phillip Breen, Indian Elephant Company and Saitama Arts Theater. My translations of plays have been performed, used as subtitles and published (Arden Shakespeare, 2021). I also work as a researcher, particularly in contemporary Japanese theatre and international collaborative work.
