Kim Wright

Theatre Director Movement director

IHello!
I am a creative specialising in directing, movement direction & choreography, and intimacy & violence support.

In all specialisms, my interests lie in excavating the complexities in human connection. Through a contextually informed approach, I seek to find answers through physically driven work.

In directing, my work centres around the intersection of spatial play and the architectural configurations of a theatrical space. In using space as a vital element of any narrative along with interactive sound design, I seek to witness how both can interact with the imagined world of a production.

In choreography, with training in a wide range of dance and movement styles, my practice promotes style as well as celebrating the freedom and expression of the individual and ensemble.

Following a career as an actor for over ten years, I am an advocate in promoting a collaborative working process.

Contact me below to see how I can ignite physical expression within a company as part of a playful, engaged and effective process.
