Kim Wright

Theatre Director Movement director Intimacy Choreographer

I am a creative specialising in directing, movement & choreography and intimacy support.

I have worked on a range of theatre experiences from devised stories to revivals of much-loved classics. At its core my interest lies in exploring the layers of human behaviour through playful, physically driven work.

My work intersects spatial play and the architectural possibilities of a theatrical space. In addition, how movement can interact with sound to evoke sense.

In choreography, with training in a wide range of dance and movement styles, my practice promotes style as well as celebrating the freedom and expression of the individual and ensemble.

Across all projects, my practice excels when operating within a collaborative and compassionate space, cultivating an environment that encourage creative experimentation.

I'm open to collaborative possibilities within the UK and beyond.
