Eduardo Barreto

Director / Playwright / Screenwriter / Dramaturg / Script Editor

Eduardo is a passionate and dedicated London based creative in the theatre and film industries. He’s been mainly working in the theatre in UK.
He has a Masters in Theatre Directing at RHUL (taught by Katie Mitchell); Masters in Screenwriting at UAL (1st Class Honours), a BA (Hons) in Film Practice (majored in Screenwriting) also at UAL, and studied for a Masters in Screenwriting at the London Film School.
I am interested in thought provoking plays which are still relevant to present day. Love the work of Fassbinber, Cocteau, Pirandello, amongst others. I love modern language and modern dilemmas, and discovering new writing.
