Zoe Templeman-Young

Director

I'm a director, dramaturg and actor who trained at RADA on the BA Course before focusing on directing. I was the Associate Director on Hamlet (feat. Cush Jumbo, Josef Marcell) at the Young Vic in 2021.
I have an interest in developing new work, and work closely with writers to develop and realise their work through R&D's, workshops and industry reads.
Having started in verbatim theatre, I am most interested in work that is political and socially engaged, the questions the current status quo and gives platforms to voices from unheard communities.
I am a mentor at Tunbridge Wells Welcomes Refugees and work closely with individuals looking to enters the arts, as well as being an associate director at RADA and RWCMD.
I am also published playwright with my verbatim play, Take Care (Nick Hern Books)
