Gaurav Singh Nijjer

Theatre-Maker Technical Director Actor Arts Manager

Gaurav Singh (he/him) is a theatre-maker, improviser and arts manager whose artistic practice investigates live performance and audience-performer interactivity using technology and distanced composition. He brings together his training in spontaneous improvisation, interest in multilingual theatre and his professional experience in marketing, technology and design to explore new ways of engaging audiences, in the theatre, at home and otherwise. Originally from New Delhi, India, he completed his MA Advanced Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with the support of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship of the UK Government. He currently lives and works in Berlin as a Cultural Researcher under the German Chancellor Fellowship at the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung.
