Joe Spence

Director

My name is Joe (He/Him) and I'm a recent theatre graduate from the University of York with a passion for making theatre. I mostly direct, but have written, acted, designed and stage managed for amateur productions. The work that I am interested in is bold and experimental in form, exploits the power of sound and the sensory and aesthetic nature of theatre, often challenges prejudices and perceptions and is unashamedly queer. I am keen to connect with anybody interested in similar work, especially those based locally in the Yorkshire and Humber region. I look forward to hearing from you!
