Ruby Etches

Bristol born, London based director (she/they). Graduate of the MA Theatre Directing programme at Mountview. I have a lot of experience working on new writing and love work that challenges me and teaches me something new about humans and the world. I love to collaborate with writers on new projects and I'm always looking to make new connections within the industry. I also have interest in film and I'm currently working on a short. I have also supervised multiple student film project through my work with the Young Film Academy.

I have experience working with student actors both at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Mountview. I would love to continue working in training environments and developing my approach to working with actors in training. I have a special interest in working with neurodiverse actors and finding methods of training that empowers them.

I am the Head of Acting for the Young Film Academy, working with young people aged 10-17 in screen actor training. I hold an up to date DBS and first aid training.
