Cassius James

I'm an emerging director and writer from Dagenham. I've been involved in performance and theatre from 12 years old. I completed the Open House Project with The Big House Theatre Company in 2019 . I love reading and watching films, particularly phycological thrillers and I am interested in storytelling and exploring different ways of sharing stories with an audience. I am passionate about directing work for theatre as I love the intimacy and immediacy of sharing a story with a live audience. I have an exceptional eye for detail, and particularly enjoy working on character work with actors. As a director I enjoy working across the multiple creative departments and pulling all the various elements of a production into one clear and cohesive vision. I'm keen to gain experience across a variety of projects from scripted to devised work. Preferred Pronoun he/him
