Tianxin Tian

Theatre Director Assistant Director

Tianxin Tian (She/Her) is a theatre director based in London. Tianxin is interested in new writing and adaptations that speaks to the world we live in now. Majored in History and Philosophy in university, Tianxin provokes thoughts about human nature, power, individuals and the collective, questions the notion of identities, and aims to raise awareness using her unique voice. Tianxin commits herself to storytelling through Brechtian theatre practice and breaking boundaries.
Co-funded Irrelevant Theatre, an East Asian queer women-led theatre company, Tianxin is a collaborator and theatre director of the company.
