Playwright Theatre Director Stage Manager Actor ProducerMy name is Callista Saputra (she/her) and I am a final year English Literature (with drama focus) student at King's College London. I am highly passionate in theatre, especially in the field of scriptwriting and directing. I am mainly interested in experimental theatrical works, and my heroes include Jackie Sibblies Drury, Jeremy O' Harris, and Young Jean Lee. As a queer Asian woman, I am highly interested in exploring what it feels to be racially fetishised, and what it takes to subvert that orientalist white gaze.
