Graig Russell

Director

Graig Russell is director and designer for theatre. After completing his Performing Arts Degree at Salford University, he lived in Japan for 10 years, designing lighting and directing for small-to-medium sized shows, ranging from Elizabethan drama to original devised pieces. His directing and devising work leans into the boundaries between the performative and non-performative, fiction and nonfiction, and, backed by his work in design, emphasis good aesthetics as key to excellent theatre.
