Flo O'Mahony

Theatre Director Creative Access Consultant Dramaturg

Flo is a theatre director, specialising in creating work with access creatively integrated. She most frequently works with deaf, neuro-diverse and disabled artists, and is a competent BSL signer, experienced in creating bilingual shows with integrated sign language and Visual Vernacular.

Flo is a highly visual maker, passionate about weaving access into her directing process and productions. She is experienced in working within devising settings, workshopping new productions, adapting for stage, and directing new writing.

Flo is also a passionate community arts practitioner and director of youth-led work, specialising in using co-creation methodologies with young people to devise new work.

Flo has directed works for NT connections, including participating in training for facilitators by Company Three. They are a lead practitioner for young people as part of Croydon Borough of Culture, and are currently co-creating 4 unique productions with Croydon young people from 11-18 years old, including the Zoo Co Young Company.
