I am a Queer Jewish Director with experience and skill in developing new work. I have an acute interest in theatre that distinctly explores how people live their lives in real and revealing ways. This involves directly working with people within communities to explore their stories and identities on stage. I am committed to realistic storytelling with a sharp, naturalistic aesthetic and I am continuously seeking ways to develop my understanding of on-stage experiences.
Ten years of experience directing theatre in the UK, Russia and India, and three years of an applied theatre degree, have taught me how the arts can advance social justice in various settings. As cinematic storytelling inspires the theatre I make, I have recently found my voice in directing and writing for screen.
