Anna Dean

Director Actor

Anna Dean is an actor and director based in London. Anna is passionate about new work and adaptations that engage with LGBTQIA+ and female identities.

Anna’s directorial technique draws upon her mentorship with Katie Mitchell at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where she was selected for a specialist artist development program. Anna also holds a Master of Arts in Theatre and Performance (Queen Mary, Distinction, December 2019).

Anna has collaborated extensively as a director, actor and artist across multiple projects shown at venues including the Barbican, V&A, Battersea Arts Centre, Cambridge Junction, The Old Market, Camden Peoples Theatre, Wilton’s Music Hall, Surgeons Hall, and many others. Anna devised and performed in the award-nominated CRY CRY KILL KILL as part of Louise Orwin company.
