Cara Dromgoole

Theatre Director

Hello!

I’m Cara (she/her), I have grown up in London. After I left school, I co-founded a theatre company ‘Three Sisters’ (with my two older sisters). The company supports new writing and has taken three plays to Edinburgh Fringe followed by London Transfers and tours. I assistant directed the first two and directed the third, which was on at the Edinburgh Festival and then the White Bear. We are in the process of working on several pieces of new writing at the moment.

As well as being passionate about new writing, I love working on classical plays and any stories that have full and alive characters within them. I care about creating supportive environments where everyone is listening to one another, the play and the audience.
