Vicky Moran

Director London

I'm Vicky (she/her). I'm a Playwright, Theatre Director, and Community Arts Facilitator, best known for my play No Sweat (Pleasance Theatre/Lakeside Feb/March 2020) about the LGBTQIA+ experience of homelessness. Previous Assistant Director for Cardboard Citizens as part of Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries 2017-19 and now freelance Associate Artist. I have worked extensively both in professional and community settings in the UK with companies such as Clean Break, The Old Vic, Soho Theatre, Theatre 503, and co-founded queer company SOURPUSS. I have also facilitated arts projects internationally; highlights include working with Syrian refugee group Syn:Format in Berlin and street performers in Ethiopia. My work centres around real stories, elevating marginalised voices and using art as activism.
