Rosie Pierce

Writer Actor Theatremaker

Rosie Pierce (she/her) is an actor, writer and theatre maker born and based in South East London.

Her first full-length play 'Non-Negotiable' won a finalist prize in the 2023 ATG Playwright's Prize and was also longlisted for the 2023 Women's Prize for Playwrighting.

As a writer she trained on the Donmar Warehouse's Local Writers Group and the Minack Theatre's Emerging Playwrights Programme. She has performed her own work at scratch nights at the Bread and Roses Theatre, Brockley Jack and with Anthroplay Theatre Company Nov, Her work has been performed at The Minack, The Space Theatre, and in a sharing at the Donmar Warehouse, as well as in the Guildford Fringe, Camden Fringe and Act II Festival.

As an actor she trained at Theatre Peckham as member of their Young Actor's Company and at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on their Part-Time Acting Foundation. She is currently undertaking training on Theatre Peckham's Rep Company. She has performed onstage at The Pleasance and Theatre Peckham, in the National Theatre Connections Festival and at the Camden Fringe, as well as in the Bread and Roses 'V-Day Festival' and 'The Platform' events. 'Neverland' a that she co-wrote, devised and performed with Act II for the Camden Fringe was nominated for an OffFest Offie and a London Pub Theatre's Standing Ovation Award.
