Theatre-maker Actor Theatre Director Writer FacilitatorHello! My name is Deepali Foster (she/her). I'm a 21 year old London-based theatre-maker with extensive experience acting, devising, and facilitating. I recently graduated from UCL, studying English, and am a member of the National Youth Theatre.
I am currently directing 'The Convent of Pleasure' by Margaret Cavendish, which will be staged in July 2023. It will be an immersive, experimental, and playful production combining early modern and contemporary queer practices and aesthetics.
I'm currently seeking a range of theatre-making opportunities to continue to learn from other creatives. I enjoy working with both classical and contemporary scripts, devising, exploring movement, and appreciate works that have both emotional and intellectual rigour.
