Connor Goodwin

Theatre Director

Connor Goodwin (he/him) is a director and theatre-maker from Salford, Greater Manchester. His working-class upbringing influences his work heavily and formed the basis for his theatre collective 'Divided Culture Co.' - addressing the disparity in cultural capital in the North of the country.

His freelance theatre-work often centres around the lived experience of disadvantaged groups, or those who suffer from stigma and inequality. Influences and interests are Sarah Kane, Victoria Wood and Alan Bennett and is heavily interested in the relationship between scenography and text.
