Yasmine Dankwah

Spoken Word Poet Writer

I'm a British-Ghanaian neurodivergent, spoken word poet and performer who writes plays amongst other things! I'm interested in fusing nostalgia (expect everything from Patrice Rushen, SWV to Daddy Lumba and Paramore...yes, Paramore), lyricism, and music in my writing to examine resistance through the lens of identity-based discrimination and use it as a springboard for joy within live narratives.
