Adédàmọ́lá Láoyè

Actor Writer Director

Raised in London, by a Nigerian parent, I am an actor, writer, and director for stage and screen. I am particularly increased in stories emerging from the African continent coupled with a focus on black masculinity and UK social class dynamics. During 2021/22 I served as President of The Cambridge Footlights, leading standup/sketch comedy across London, Cambridge, Edinburgh, and internationally.

My previous staged directorial works have each received 5-star critical reviews and were shortlisted as 'Highlights of the Year' by Varsity.

My debut short film 'Stay With Me' was named winner of 'Film at Jesus' Winter Competition 2022 judged by casting directors Jina Jay and Shaheen Baig.

I am represented as an actor by Nina Lee Management.
