Theatre director Dramaturg Theatre practitionerMr Liu Diyu is a theatre practitioner who focus on our collective memories, aiming to create something that will empathize with our generation. I was trained as an director and did most of my work as an dramaturg in Beijing. I concern about my society and people a lot, so projects I want to do is usually political and sarcastic. My work is mostly devising theatres which based on news reports, personal experience and researches which are important in our age. I pay special attention to actors' experience and their connections to the materials, seeing them as individuals in our society, not only actors.
