Xanthus Peters

She/Her



Xanthus is a London based performer, writer, theatre and filmmaker. Her background in Dance Performance and Photography, visually and physically influence her storytelling. Her credits include assisting on ‘Changing Destiny’ at The Young Vic, ‘PYNEAPPLE’ at The Bunker Theatre, ‘I Don’t Care’ with National Youth Theatre and ‘Dear Elizabeth’ at The Gate. She has directed ‘Ep 4 - Erica’ of Hear Myself Think Podcast and had work featured in ‘Black Joy’ at The Almeida.
She is currently resident director of the ‘An Inspector Calls’ 22/23 tour.
At Theatre 503 Xanthus has directed ‘If I Could Love’, ‘Just Nod’ and ‘Repossession’. She has
Her film work includes ‘Posters’, a short film with Mountview, and assisted on ‘A Moment’s Peace’ short film for The Hope Theatre.
Xanthus aims to create with purposeful work, collaborating with other creatives to showcase narratives with a refreshing take. She is motivated by the desire to see a broader representation of the vast stories that Black people hold.
