Sarah Isaac

I am an award winning playwright and screenwriter passionate about bringing South East Asian stories to stage and screen.

I studied philosophy at King's College London and completed a course in Film & TV writing at the NFTS.

I was a member of the Royal Court's Writing Group, Kali's Discovery Program, School of High Tide, and part of the Rifco Theatre's Associates 2021-2022

In 2021, I won the Sky Arts RSL Award in playwriting.

I have also been longlisted for the Sultan Padamsee Award in Playwriting, Windsor Fringe Kenneth Branagh Award For New Writing and the Papatango Prize.

I am also a member of the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain.
