KYRIAKI FORTI

multi-disciplinary spatial designer set designer architect

I am a multi-disciplinary spatial designer and architect. My work centers around set and performance design, where I merge my architectural and design expertise to craft immersive, site-specific narratives. I am particularly intrigued by the idea of integrating theatre performances into everyday life, making it a natural and accessible part of our social and cultural landscape. My creative projects draw inspiration from the Fluxus movement and Peter Brook’s insights regarding “Empty space”, exploring the interplay between audience and stage, the storytelling potential of objects, and the concept that any space is a performance space waiting to come alive.
