Kayleigh Hinsley

Playwright Dramaturg Photographer Facilitator Script reader

Kayleigh Mai Hinsley (she/her) is playwright, dramaturg and facilitator of mixed Irish, English and Sri Lankan descent originally from North Devon, now based in North London. She is drawn to stories that balance humour and darkness, and enjoys using metaphor and absurdism in her own work to provoke and entertain. Kayleigh has been a member of Beyond Face’s We Are Here To Write programme since 2021, had scripts shortlisted by Traverse Theatre and the Royal Court and is currently taking part in NSDF Lab 2023/24 at Camden People’s Theatre.
