Kate Stamoulis (She/Her)

Kate is an Edinburgh-based Director and Theatre Maker, interested in creating new and inventive work and fostering a sense of collective collaboration. She is interested in devised, ensemble-driven theatre, new writing, and reinventing classics for modern audiences.​

Kate is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Hey Thanks! Theatre Collective, a queer and women-led theatre company based in Edinburgh/London. Founded in 2022, the company has been featured as one of Playbill's "Edinburgh's Companies to Watch". Their first production, 'Kitchen Underwear" premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, and is also programmed as a part of the 2024 Brighton Fringe Festival.

Kate is currently pursuing her MFA in Theatre Directing at Edinburgh Napier University and is due to complete her degree in August 2024.
