Writer, director and dramaturg. Internationalist, disabled, working class, LGBTQ+ . Seeking writing commissions - specialism: politically radical, historical or contemporary female led projects; dramaturgy and story/script consultancy; co-directing on an ideal project could be possible but working hours on site limited by disability at present time. Previously Artistic Director joint CEO of Soho Theatre (2006-2010) and the Red Room (1995-2006) for whom I developed, directed and produced a vast body of radical new writing. Set up the Lion and Unicorn pub theatre. Author of 'The No Rules Handbook for Writers' (Bloomsbury/Oberon) Have taught widely on MAs in playwriting/dramaturgy and run masterclasses internationally.
