Emma Gibson

Director Aspiring Writer

Hi, I'm Emma (they/she/he), and I am primarily a director who was raised in South Africa and then Coventry. I am interested mostly in new writing about contemporary issues like climate change, LGBTQ+ experiences and political divisions. However I also find a lot of joy in staging much older works like Greek Tragedy or Shakespeare, which I often find illuminate the urgency of contemporary issues in new lights. I love comedy and drama but most of all a mix of both.
