Zak Charlesworth

For the past 10 years I have been the resident Creative Director for The Young Performers which is a youth theatre company based in Derbyshire, East Midlands.

In 2023 I set up my own company Zak Scott Productions whose aim is to produce high-quality theatre productions for communities. ZS Productions is currently working on its second Summer School for young people to have the opportunity to perform a full scale musical over the summer holidays.

In 2023 I also took on the role of Production Manager for the Nottingham Operatic Society who perform yearly at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham. Here I oversee the production and manage all production departments.

I am also a freelance Singing & Acting Tutor and have students following LAMDA Exams. I have a 100% Pass Rate with 95% achieving distinction.

I am interested in taking one step further to move my skills into the professional industry.
