Theatre Director Writer Actor Dramaturg FilmmakerI am an emergent Irish-Jamaican writer and director of theatre and film from Bristol. I both create original work and reinterpret stories in a way that confronts contemporary issues of gender, race, class and sexuality from an intersectional perspective informed by my cultural background. I prefer to cast actors as close to the lived experience of their characters as possible and collaborate with them in the creation of our stories. Aesthetically, I am influenced by visual artists, particularly cartoonists and am interested in the translation of styles across different mediums. My preferred pronouns are he/him.
