I am an artistic director of Scaffold Shakespeare Company and POH Productions, working internationally as an actor, director, university lecturer and workshop facilitator.
During the winter lockdown of 2020, I directed an audio production of Peter Pan starring Kenneth Branagh, Olivia Colman, Sharon D Clarke and Bertie Carvel to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The production was rehearsed, recorded, mixed and fully-scored remotely and is available online at: listentopeterpan.com.
I have worked extensively as an actor in classical theatre in London, round the UK on tour and internationally in France, Greece and Cyprus. Since founding Scaffold Shakespeare Company in 2011, I have developed his skills as a director, specialising in Shakespeare but also in immersive performance (SPECIFIQ; Hammer House of Horrors: The Soulless Ones). Scaffold’s “Play out the Play” workshop series (covering the complete plays of Shakespeare) was awarded an Owl Schreame Award for Innovation in Classical Theatre, and I have since led regular workshops for a range of institutions including the National Theatre of Northern Greece.
I trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, graduating in 2009 with a BA (Hons) in Acting. During his time there, I was awarded the Peter Coxhead scholarship and represented Mountview at The Sam Wanamaker Festival at The Globe.
