I am a South African – German interdisciplinary performer, writer and facilitator, creating through theatre, poetry and storytelling and use she/her pronouns. My practice explores collaborative distant intimacy, finding, reclaiming, and creating home in the in-between spaces as a woman raised by multiple homes, heritages and languages. My practice draws from the wisdom of call and response in South African storytelling as a tool for creative world building in order I hope to shape worlds that hold space for claiming ‘in-betweenity’ as a place of belonging.
