Kirk-ann is Caribbean born London based theatre director and dramaturg. A graduate of the Young Vic intro into directing programmes. She has completed the young vic’s spring broad and fresh direction programmes and is a current member of Tamasha’s directors programme. Director of Unbraided by Rakaya Fetuga and s.w.e.p.e by Chloe Florence. Recent Boris Karloff trainee director on Hamlet at the Young Vic directed by Greg Hersov. Assistant director on Samskara at the Yard Theatre written and directed by Lanre Malaolu. Kirk-Ann's work is often influenced by the social political climate of the time, her work is thought provoking and aims to challenge the status quo and effect change whilst also celebrating the global majority telling stories that reflect underrepresented voices within society
