Ewa Borowska

Director

I am a director from Poland. Before coming to train at Drama Centre London, I was a theatre practitioner in Warsaw and a founding member of Teatr Baza, where I trained as an actress, co-organised international theatre projects, and worked as a pedagogue in drama for children and teenagers. At Drama Centre I directed both classic and contemporary texts, incl. the UK premiere of Marius von Mayenburg's Perplex. I had also written, shot and edited shorts. I have experience in a variety of theatrical and performance traditions, which I obtained by attending international workshops, incl. mime, liturgical chant, art and folk song, biomechanics and clown. Since 2017 I am an artistic director at Here Now Ensemble.
