Kaitlin Argeaux
Director
Founding Artistic Director of Théâtre Libre - a feminist, physical theatre company formed in 2009 and based in London.
I specialise in the staging of powerful female leads, and the exploration and subversion of female heroine and villain archetypes. My portfolio includes bold re-imaginings of characters ranging from Clytemnestra and Salome to the Italian martyr Maria Goretti.
I am particularly interested in the body (how we move and convey emotional truth), politics, and poetry.
