Melanie Noa Jehan

Director

Melanie Noa Jehan is a London-based director and graduate of English Literature and Classical Civilisation from the University of Leeds. She is currently reading for a Masters in Dramatic Writing at Central Saint Martins (UAL). Melanie is passionate about creating thought-provoking theatre that explores and pushes the boundaries of what theatre is. Her final year dissertation was a creative writing project, an Avant-Garde history play entitled ‘Listen, You Can Hear the Sound of No Hands Clapping’, which achieved a First. She put on and directed the play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019. The Derek Awards gave it 4.5 out of 5 starts. It also received great audience feedback.
