Susanna Dye

Director Choreographer Movement Director

(pronouns: she/they) I work between the fields of theatre, dance and film and am developing a practice which enables the performers I work with to have space for improvisation, play and individual expression within their experience of learning, devising and performing.

I work from my lived experience of neurodivergence to challenge existing norms in dance and performance practice. My research explores what happens when we conceive of dance as sensory dialogue: prioritizing how movement feels over how it looks.

I’m curious about how we hold space for gentleness, joy, connection and messiness.
