I am theatre-maker /director / dramaturg / ‘not-quite-drag’ performance artist. [proununs- they/them/theirs]

Whatever my role in the creative process. I like it when the work has vibrant and arresting visual elements, when it roars with purpose and takes the time to be tender with its audience. Through all my work I like to explore gender, the lives and histories LGBTQIA+ people, our digital existances, activism, socialism. I'm currently focusing on making work that is community focused, which takes time to platform voices and experince of those are / feel unable to acces perfromance spaces.

When riding solo, under the ‘alias ‘dandysocpic’ I make perfromance that is gender-bent, unapologetically camp, heartfelt and unashamed. As part of theatre ensemble Camisado Club; we make work that is in equal parts outrageous, outlandish and uplifting mostly based on true stories and adaptions of classic tales.
