Steve Livermore

My name is Steve; I am happy to be called he, him. I am a director with over 20 years experience in theatre, performing arts and recorded media. I have directed classical and contemporary texts, pop promos, short films and TV commercials and worked on a wide range of production sizes; from small scale studio theatre pieces to car commercials in Dubai.
I was 'Director in Residence' at the Teatr im. Wandy Siemaszkowej, in Rzeszow for eighteen months from 2013-2014. '
My vocational studies were completed in 1992 at East 15 Acting School.
From 2004-2007 I worked as visiting Senior Lecturer at Lodz University Dept. of English Philology; with particular responsibility for the practical drama element of the Drama Specialisation MA.
In 2008 I completed an MA in Actor Training and Coaching at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Throughout my career I have been involved with new writing at all stages of its creative development and during my time in Rzeszow I helped the literary department of the Siemaszkowej deal with English language submitted scripts.
I have worked with professional and non professional actors and across a wide and diverse range of ages and abilities, been involved with summer schools for the Children's Society and East 15, taken workshops and taught courses in both Higher and Further Education institutions.
