Niall Potter

Director Dramaturg

I am a German / Scottish stage director, translator and adapter. I split my time between working in the UK and other European countries, primarily Germany and the Netherlands. I believe the German and British theatre scenes have a great deal to learn from one another and am interested in exploring work that creates a cultural bridge between these two traditions. Especially in our post-Brexit world I believe it is essential to uphold an ongoing cultural exchange between the UK and the rest of Europe.
I have worked with a number of leading european & international theatre, opera and film makers including Robert Wilson, Paolo Sorrenttino, Robert Icke, Daniela Löffner & Sönke Wortmann.
My pronouns are he/him.
