Megan Cronin and is a London born Playwright and Theatre Director.
Megan creates new work through innovative techniques that explore the overlooked lives of real people, the untold stories of science and under-examined moments from world history. Aiming to create entertaining and thought provoking work, Megan works with a mixture of collaborators to ensure their challenging, playful work is seen by as diverse an audience as possible, with a keen focus on celebrating working class talent.
As a playwright, Megan has written for various fringe theatres in London and the South East, including The Kings Head, The Pleasance, The Old Red Lion and HighTide.
As a director, Megan trained at The University of Kent's Masters Director Program, and has directed classical theatre alongside her new writing work.
Megan wrote and Directed CARNATION FOR A SONG a Young Vic Taking Part Production closely working alongside Composer and Musical Director Joe Atkins, which had two sold out runs in 2018 & 2019.
