Jen Tan

Director

As a theatre fan, I always strive to make the work that I want to see. That is, work which is bold, dynamic, captivating and which resonates with a modern audience. I pride myself in working with humanity and kindness at the core of everything I do. Most of my work has been in new writing and I love to collaborate with writers to facilitate the development of plays.

Currently developing A.I.D.A.N with playwright Matilda Ibini, a play about AI and disability which subverts the robot-gone-bad tropes of science fiction and examines the human motivations behind technology.

I will direct a new play for Yellow Earth in 2020.
