Nikhil Vyas

Director

Nikhil Vyas (he/him) is a theatre director & maker, born in Mumbai and raised in Croydon.

His work spans developing and directing new plays with writers, leading and directing collaborative performance processes with other artists, education and facilitation roles, and dramaturgy.

His work has been awarded and supported by the Untapped Award, MGCFutures’ Creative Bursary Award and Arts Council England’s Developing Your Creative Practice Fund. He is the Artistic Director of Counterfactual.

He is currently a script reader for the Royal Court Theatre. He has delivered workshops and educational projects in collaboration with Birmingham Rep, Rose Theatre Kingston, Boundless Theatre, Zoo Co and Nouveau Riche.
